SDI Concrete Stain System

The SDI concrete stain system incorporates the products needed to make any stained concrete job flow smoothly from beginning to end.  Initial cleaning and degreasing products are included as well as 3 types of staining acid stains for interior and exterior use.

SDI CitraPro Concentrated Cleaner/Degreaser

CitraPro is the recommended initial cleaning product for use diluted with up to 25 parts water to 1 part CitraPro for light duty cleaning and more concentrated for stubborn stains.  CitraPro may also be used after the stain has fully reacted to assist in the cleaning process prior to final rinsing before sealing.  Apply CitraPro over the entire surface and lightly scrub to remove dirt and oils.  For heavy oil or grease spots use undiluted.  Rinse well before staining. 

SDI Super Blue Concrete Renovator

Super Blue is a mild acidic detergent that etches and cleans any concrete surface.  Its use is recommended prior to applying stain to enhance the color and penetration of the stain (especially on machine-troweled floors) as well as increase adhesion of the sealer.  It is not necessary  to neutralize, simply rinse well and let dry before sealing.  Dilute Super Blue with 2-3 parts water to 1 part Super Blue, Spray or mop over the concrete surface applying liberally.  Allow to penetrate for about 5 minutes, scrub lightly with brush or broom then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.  If spraying, use an acid resistant sprayer. 

SDI Earthtone Stain

SDI Earthtone stain is a reactive, acidic stain available in a selection of colors for use both interior and exterior.  Apply SDI Concrete Stain with a plastic sprayer or mop at a rate of 150-200 square feet per gallon.  Allow 4-6 hours for stain to penetrate and thoroughly dry.  Neutralize & rinse well, making sure to remove all residue.  Allow the surface to fully dry prior to sealing (a minimum of 24 hours).

SDI Concrete Dye Concentrate

SDI Concentrate Dye is a translucent dye, formulated using very fine particles of color designed to penetrate and color interior cementitious surfaces, including polished concrete. SDI Concrete Dye creates a unique, multi-colored translucent color scheme that unlike paints, will not crack, chip, or peel. SDI Concrete Dye is available in 20 colors but can be combined to create an unlimited color palate that creates a similar mottling or marbleized effect, when used properly. Create the look of a beautiful, custom acid stained floor in about 1/3 of the time.
