Release Agents

BRICKFORM Antique Release™ is a powder colored bond-breaker designed to prevent texturing tools from sticking while adding color, shading and highlights. It is designed to aid in texturing applications and stand up to the effects of sunlight. BRICKFORM Antique Release is applied to the surface of the plastic concrete and to the texturing tool. A portion of the release becomes imbedded into the concrete, usually where there is relief in the texturing tool, leaving behind an antiqued appearance. The release agent is streak-free and will add color and highlighting to the finished application. BRICKFORM Antique Release is broadcast onto the concrete surface prior to the placement of mat-type texturing tools or rollers. Our UV-resistant pigments come in 40 standard colors to match or contrast with BRICKFORM Color Hardener; custom colors are available upon request. BRICKFORM Antique Release is packaged in a convenient 35-pound moisture resistant pail, with an application rate of 3.5-pounds or more per 100 square feet.
BRICKFORM Antique Release can be used in matching or contrasting colors to create a variety of effects. A combination of colors can add interesting shadings and highlights to the finished concrete surface. In addition, after 28 days, the concrete should be sealed with a BRICKFORM Sealer for protection. Custom colors and color matches can be accommodated with lead time (pricing may change).  A 30 lb. pail of Release Powder should cover approximately 800-1000 square feet.  A 25 lb. pail of Release Powder should cover approximately 650 -850 square feet.

Legacy Accent Color Release™ is a pigmented, bondbreaking dry powder release formulated with proprietary components and high purity pigments that are UV resistant and streak free. It is designed to add contrast or to create an antiqued appearance. Accent Color Release™ comes in 20 Classic Series colors and 8 Signature Series colors and/or custom color options are available.

QC Release Powder II is specifically designed for use with color hardened textured concrete. This product allows for the clean release of texturing tools from the concrete surface, and at the same time, creates highlighting color (also called an antiquing effect) with mat-type texturing tools.

SDI Ultra Pure Liquid Release is a clean alternative to the use of powder release agents.  SDI Ultra Pure Liquid Release is a thoroughly refined liquid (light solvent) that is applied by sprayer.  It has been thoroughly refined to keep stamping tools from swelling and corroding, unlike some other liquid release agents.  It is not flammable and has a light sweet odor.  It has been designed to evaporate slowly but fully…slowly to offer plenty of time to stamp without re-application, and fully within 12 hours so as to not conflict with the cleaning process or application of sealers.  SDI Ultra Pure Liquid Release is commonly tinted with amounts of colored, powder release agents to also offer a secondary accent coloring without the mess that broadcasting powders can often make. 
 

Newly introduced by Proline, EZ-Tique Water Based Acrylic Antiquing Wash is taking the industry by storm. This versatile coloring agent is easily applied and will hold fast to any textured concrete surface. This powder is designed to mix with water and be applied as a liquid wash coat. EZ-Tique can be used to revitalize a weathered concrete surface or add an antique color to a freshly textured surface. It goes on quickly and easily and can be removed readily for greater control of the coloring process. This product is water-based, non-hazardous and zero V.O.C. EZ-Tique comes in 42 standard colors, as does Proline's Color Hardener and Antique Release. It comes in a 3 lb. pail and covers about 2,000 - 3,000 square feet per container, making this product extremely affordable.
