Stains & Dyes

APC Hydratint is a water-based, polymer-bonded, environmentally friendly stain which can add color to any unsealed concrete surface. Apply by plastic sprayer at the rate of 200 square feet per gallon and allow to dry. APC Hydratint requires no cleaning or neutralization prior to sealing.

SDI Concentrated Acid Stains are reactive stains for interior & exterior use. Concentrated stains can be diluted 1:1, each diluted gallon will cover 100-150 ft.

**PLEASE NOTE**  Due to the reactive nature of acid stains, colors may appear different than the chart and on different concrete substrates.  Also, Black is not a true black, but generally appears dark brown.  

SDI Dye Concentrate is a translucent dye designed to penetrate and color any cementitious surfaces, including polished concrete. SDI Dye is designed to create a mottled look similar to an acid stain in 1/3 of the time. 20 standard colors can be combined to create an unlimited color palate. SDI Dye Concentrate is sold in concentrated form to be mixed with acetone prior to use. One finished gallon of SDI Dye will cover 400-600 square feet.

Newlook Endura Solid Stain is an excellent product to add life and color to new, fully-cured concrete or existing concrete surfaces.  Add bold, beautiful, and durable colors to you patio, driveway, walkway, etc. with Newlook's Endura-Stain.  This Solid color stain can enhance new concrete work and is an excellent choice in renovating older concrete with discolorations, patches, etc.  Make it look new again...OR make it better than it ever was before.

Endura Solid Color Stain works great on all types of concrete. Since Endura Solid Color Stain is a single component concrete stain it can be used for both commercial and personal use.  NewLook Endura Solid Stain is a contractor grade, single component concrete stain that is highly durable and easy to use. Use Endura Solid Stain to stain concrete, restore faded concrete or maintain concrete. Endura Solid Stain is affordable while being premium in quality & performance. The product is contractor grade and compatible with NewLook’s extensive line of products, including cleaners, sealers, and accessories.

This product is sold here in 1-gallon pails.  The product will either be pre-pigmented or shipped with a separate liquid pigment bottle which is to be mixed into the gallon prior to use.  Coverage is 250-500 square feet per gallon (per coat) depending on surface and application conditions.

Installation Overview (for additional installation details, please see the Product Technical Data Sheet and/or call for assistance)

1.  Remove any paints, sealers, or coatings from the surface. Oil/grease and other stains must also be addressed.

2.  Clean and prep surface (suggested product: Newlook 3 in 1 Prep), then allow to dry.

3.  Pre-Mix Newlook Endura Solid Stain and transfer to a clean separate container for application. (Premix and blend in any pigment-packs if not using a pre-pigmented version of the Endura Solid Stain)

4.  Apply 1 light coat (250-500 square feet per gallon) over surface using the Newlook applicator brush in figure-8 motions (brush with the grain of broom-texture if applicable).  Allow to dry completely.

5.  If necessary, repeat application of a 2nd light coat in the same manner.  Again, allow to dry completely

6.  If desired, one of Newlook's many compatible sealers may be applied for improved durability and appeal.

Newlook Applicator Brushes are great for applying all Newlook Stain products as well as many other items such as EZ-Tique, Antique-It, Super Blue, and other cleaning products, etc.  It even works great for cleaning the car, truck, boat, or other items and areas around the shop or house.  Full-volume, poly bristles, with exploded tips are ideal for coverage, neat application, and clean up well too.  These tend to help up pretty well through multiple projects.

Our favorite variety of Newlook Applicator brush is the 10" version.  We like it for its versatile size as it fits in and out of a 5-gal pail easily during use, while still making coverage reasonable for most areas.  We also love the 4" round designer brush for smaller project-needs or more divided, detailed areas.
