Pre-Cast Furniture Molds for Concrete

This kit of Urethane-Rubber Molds for concrete is made by Butterfield/SikaStamp.  We have been excited about this new lineup of molds for a while, so we combined a few items to create this kit so you can cast your own concrete benches.  You can select either the wood-plank texture or the bluestone texture, or get 'em both.  Our preferred concrete mix for casting these bench components is the Z-White Countertop mix but we also love the Butterfield Flat Out concrete mix as well as Proline's Pro-Cast mix.  Mix and match various colors using Renew-Crete color-packs or other integral colors, APC Hydratint Stains, SDI Concentrated Acid Stains, and antiquing products as well for a completely-custom look.  We've used a variety of SDI sealers on these pre-cast pieces too and we haven't found one that doesn't look great.

The Basic Flat Bench kit will include:

•  a single (1) leg mold (you will use it twice and cast one leg at a time, or you can elect to buy two leg molds to save time) 
• a single (1) seat-slab mold (your choice of wood plank or bluestone). 
• and a single (1) complete hardware kit to bolt the pieces together. (makes 1 complete bench) 

The leg mold is manufactured with ports to install and set the anchor-hardware prior to casting so no drilling or extra work is required.  Likewise, the seat-slab molds are manufactured so that your concrete will form around the areas where your bolt-and-washer hardware will be pre-aligned to fit neatly through seat-slab into the anchor-hardware cast into your leg mold pieces.  The bolt-heads will be recessed below the surface of the seat for a clean look.  Practical reinforcement is recommended (re-bar and/or AR-Glass mesh and fiber)

Finished Seat-Slabs are about 16" wide x 48" long, and 2" thick

Finish legs are about 20" deep, 18" tall, and 3.5" wide

These are some of the most unique Urethane Pre-Cast molds available.  Butterfield/SikaStamp has created these two highly detailed concrete molds to create beautiful Live Edge Walnut and Bare Edge Ash Wood Slabs.  These can make incredible bars, bench-tops, shelves, etc..  There is nothing else like these on the market from other manufacturers.  These are well-built molds that will last well.

Our favorite concrete mix to use with these molds is the Z-White Concrete Countertop mix but we also really like the Butterfield Flat-Out Concrete Mix as well as Proline's Pro-Cast mix.  Combine with some Renew-Crete Color Packs, some SDI Concentrated Acid Stain, APC Hydratint Stain, and nearly any of the SDI sealers.

These two mold have great, unique, natural character of bark, raw, bare edges, and beautiful wood-grain features on the side edges and face.

The Bare Edge Ash mold creates a finished slab that ranges from 17.25" - 14" in width, is 8' long, and 2" thick

The Live Edge Walnut mold creates a similar finished slab that ranges from 17"-14" wide, 8' long, and 2" thick

The Leg-Mold works to make a perfect base that works with two different Log Table-Top sizes.  Using your Leg-Mold twice to cast a pair of legs, they are specifically made wi9th a central half-notch design to interlock without the need for any special hardware.  One Leg-Mold is included in this kit and you can add on a second Leg-Mold to save time and cast both legs at once. You can even include a pair (or two pairs) of Leg-Mold Filler Blocks to reduce the height of your table by 6" increments.

You can select either the 3' Log Table-Top Mold or the MASSIVE 4' Log Table-Top Mold, or get 'em both.  Our preferred concrete mix for casting these tables is the Z-White Countertop mix but we also love the Butterfield Flat Out concrete mix as well as Proline's Pro-Cast mix.  Mix and match various colors using Renew-Crete color-packs or other integral colors, APC Hydratint Stains, SDI Concentrated Acid Stains, and antiquing products as well for a completely-custom look.  We've used a variety of SDI sealers on these pre-cast pieces too and we haven't found one that doesn't look great.  Practical forms of reinforcement are recommended.  AR Glass Fiber, Fiberglass mesh/scrim, re-bar, or other forms of reliable reinforcement can all be used.

The Basic Concrete Log-Table kit will include:

•  One (1) leg mold (you will use this to cast one leg at a time.  Two finished legs can be interlocked to form your table base. 
• One (1) Log-Table-Top mold (your choice of 3' dia. or 4' dia.). 

Finished table is approx. 30" in height (approx. 24" using 1 pair of leg-blocks, 18" if using 2 pairs of leg-blocks)

Finished Leg dimensions are 31.75" wide, 27.875" high, and 2" Thick
