I live in Central Pennsylvania and am a home owner/ do-it-yourself er and I wanted to build a concrete fireplace harth using the Buddy Rhodes pressed method and had NEVER touched concrete before, this was my first ever experience. It would gave cost over $300 just in shipping on the materials I needed (not their fault), so I drove out to New Jersey to pick up the items myself and I’m SO glad I did! Matt, the owner of the company, spent over TWO HOURS with me going over my plans and design, and giving me tips and hints. He also discounted a color pack because they were from two separate batches and he warned me multiple times that the colors may not match (passive-aggressive slam on the one star rating guy) but the colors matched PERFECTLY since I followed his instructions precisely.
